GM of the Year
Toronto/ Daniel – Going all in, Toronto sells their future and depth to acquire stars Lamontagne, Bennett, and Van Fleet to make a last minute playoff push winning 9 straight games to end the season and clinch their inaugural playoff birth.
Carolina/ Carter – Does this GM know something we don’t? Selling two top 10 point getters for future stars, Carolina found a way to dominate in the homestretch of the season and go on winning streaks with both goaltenders to make the playoffs for a chance redeem themselves from last years cup final defeat.
Montreal/ Stephane – Another dominant season coming in first by 8 points, Montreal made a few key acquisitions to bolster their defence in hopes of another cup opportunity.
New York/ Jon – After missing last years playoffs by the decisive tie breaker of most wins, New York bounced back to clinch first in the conference and make a cup run opportunity. New York brought in high calibre players Riordan Jr., McCarthy and Jones to play along side Norris winning Lovia and All-Star Alexander.
